La escuela de francotiradores del Ejército tiene como misión capacitar al personal militar como Francotiradores de Combate con estándares de calidad internacional para satisfacer la demanda operacional del Ejército e Institutos Armados.
Capacitando y entrenando al personal de Oficiales, Técnicos y Suboficiales en las técnicas de francotiradores de combate, tropa especialista y TSM con técnicas de tiradores emboscados; asimismo investigar, actualizar y producir doctrina de francotirador del Ejército.
